During October 2019, the Blessing Tree (Sacred Peepal) was planted at the “Shree Vishnu Maya Mandir” on the right-side temple entrance. In Kaliyug, it is also called the Kalpa Briksh (Wish-Fullfiling Tree).
This mysterious tree has its scientific value, religious value, spiritual value, medicinal value. It is found in many countries like as China, India, Bangal, Nepal, Mayanmar, Pakistan, Srilanka etc.
In the Bhagavad Geeta, Lord Krishna says that “In all trees, I am Peepal or Ashwath“. In Skand Puran it is said that all deities resided in Peepal tree. Peepal tree has power to fulfill the life with positivity and so in different holy books of Hindu the importance of this tree is given in different ways. Gautam Buddha has also done spiritual practice under this tree and so also this tree is important for the followers of Buddha. Those who worship Peepal regularly are blessed with health, wealth and prosperity and so astrologers also recommend people to worship this tree time to time in different ways.
In many scriptures, Peepal tree represents the Holy Trinity. The roots being Brahma, Trunk being Vishnu, and Leaves being Shiva. Devotees worship the Peepal tree and with faith, tie a red thread around the tree and state their wishes. They vow that if their wish comes true, they will come back to the same tree and untie it.
This sacred tree is known by many names in the Indian sub-continent, like Bodhi tree, Ashwattha tree and the scientific name is Ficus Religiosa or Sacred Fig. Peepal tree is a common sight in India and very beneficial to the environment and has amazing medicinal properties for humans. One of the very few trees that give Oxygen 24 hours a day.
